WHO WE ARE

The Jefferson County Conservation District was started in 1946. Decisions were made to better the soil for the land. As in years past, this goal of the conservation district remains, along with providing services for the local community. Be sure to reach out for more information on the different programs, such as Cost-Share funding, for financial assistance. If you are looking to get involved, you can volunteer your time or donate to the conservation district. Contact Megan at the office to get involved.
